How do they work?
Alfuzosin tablets relax the muscle of the prostate gland widening the urethra and so relieving the symptoms of BPH.
How long do you take them for?
As long as the enlargment of the prostate excists. Mostly the rest of your life.
When does the effect show or when is it noticeable?
After a couple of days it wil be easier to pass water.
What are the side effects if any?
Because it is a alfa-blocker it has effect on the neural system and may cause lower bloodpressure; vertigo, dizziness.
How do you take them?
Take one Xatral 10mg tablet once a day, after a meal.
Swallow your tablets whole with plenty of water. Do not chew them.
Take your tablet at the same time each day.
Take the 2.5mg tablets as prescribed, mostly more frequent during the day. 3 times daily is every 6-8 hours; 4 times daily is every 5-6 hours.
Can I take this if I am Pregnant, want to conceive or if Iam breast feeding?
