How long do you take them for?
Take as long as it is prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop without consulting your doctor.
When does the effect show or when is it noticeable?
It will take a few weeks until optimal effect is reached, after that it will work for 1-2 days after the last dose.
What are the side effects if any?
troubled sleeping, concentration problems, skin reactions (itch, rash), nausea, dry-mouth, anxiety nervousness, changes of taste, restlessness, sweating, impotence and an effect on the platelet function (prolonged bleeding). If you encounter an adverse reaction contact your doctor or pharmacist.
How do you take them?
Take it once daily with enough water; in the morning, or evening with food.
Can I take this if I am Pregnant, want to conceive or if Iam breast feeding?
The use of fluoxetine is not recommended during pregnancy. Only if clearly needed discuss the use with your doctor.
Avoid breast-feeding while using fluoxetine, the drug is found in the breast milk and may have adverse effect on the baby.
